Our final semester exam for Science will be on Thursday, December 17.  The questions will cover all material from the first semester.  Study hard and you'll do well!

Don't forget we will be on Thanksgiving break from November 23 - November 27.  Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!  We'll see you back at school on November 30th!

Our Winter break will be from December 21 - January 8.  Have a wonderful holiday season! 

Cope has started a wonderful program to reward and recognize students who are contributing to our school and classroom communities in a positive way.  Teachers and other members of our staff are handing out "gold tickets" which are put into a bucket in the office and a ticket is drawn each Friday to reward one of the students. 

I love "catching" kids help others, perform random acts of kindness, or show positive behavior! 

I've changed the way I've set up my system for recording "Bad Marks" for behavior in my gradebook so there is less confusion for parents.  If you log onto parent portal, under the first assignment, I've recorded "Bad Marks" with a score of 4 possible.  For each "Bad Mark" I record I will take away one point.  I have also recorded under "comments" for each student their behavior status.  This will be updated regularly.
